about the project
Rang Mahal was a tribute to mujra — a classical South Asian performance art. My role was to build a world around the performance: a space that felt culturally rooted, layered, and fully immersive.
my process

Concept — researched the visual and sensory language of mujra to build an authentic creative direction.

Decor & set design — selected and styled all physical elements, textiles, ornaments, and furniture.

Sensory direction — directed scent and atmosphere to create a fully immersive environment.
